ICL used to use their own numbering schemes for their components,
replacing the old number with their number on the component. It was
said that this was done for security reasons, but I never got a
definitive answer. Any way below is a list of numbers that I have
accrued over the years working as an engineer for ICL. Also in those
days it was a useful list to have, because when boards were scraped
we used to spend many (and I mean many) hours de-soldering and
sucking off the components.
DILIC was ICL's acronym for Dual In Line Intergrated Circuit.
